1. Purpose, scope and users

This Privacy Notice describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you engage with Parade Leasing Inc. (use the Service) and informs you of your privacy rights and how the law protects you. 2.1 Personal Information

Personal data is requested to use a service or to access content. You declare and guarantee that all data provided by you is true and correct and you undertake to keep it updated. The changes may be communicated to the Data Protection Officer or to the email address indicated in Section 13 hereof. Likewise, you acknowledge that the data required by Parade Leasing Inc. is necessary, adequate, and not excessive to carry out the purposes in Section 4 hereof, which would be impossible to fulfill if said data was not provided.

  • Personal identification information is the information you provide us and relates to you as an identifiable individual. (name, home address, telephone number, driver’s license, employment information, personal references, financial and insurance information etc.)

2.2 Usage data

  • Usage Data is collected automatically when you visit our website.

Usage data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on these pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you are using, your unique mobile device identifier, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you are using, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our service or when you access the service by or through a mobile device.

3. How do we collect your personal data?

You provide most of the data we collect directly to our company. We collect data and process data when you :

  • Voluntarily complete the forms on our website at www.paradeleasing.com ( e.g. Send us an inquiry and complete a Financing Request online) or send us a printed form;
  • Use or consult our website via your browser's cookies;
  • Ask us to create contracts, quotes or invoices;
  • Exchange emails and/or texts with you about our service;
  • Communicate with us by telephone, email, SMS or in person and through social media platforms;
  • Subscribe to receive marketing information;
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on one of our discussion forums or by e-mail;
  • Subscribe to our Newsletter.

4. Use of your personal data

Our company collects your data so that we can:

  • Provide you with information, products and services that correspond to inquiries and requests that you have made as a client or potential client;
  • Facilitate handling of your credit application for the lease or finance (through a third-party financial institution) of a vehicle or equipment;
  • Facilitate management of your lease, purchase, and sale;
  • Keep our customer files up to date;
  • Offer you after-sales services;
  • Inform you of any warranty, product recall, customer service campaigns in relation to the products you use;
  • Register for Connected Car services on App.;
  • Contact you via e-mail or any other means with special offers on other products and services we think may be of interest or send you a newsletter (engage in direct or indirect marketing);
  • Perform customer satisfaction surveys;
  • Collect and store your photograph in your customer file to identify and authenticate your identity or use it for marketing purposes with your consent if such use is necessary.

If you agree, our company will share your data with partner companies so that they can offer you their products and services such as:

  • Authorized dealers
  • Service providers
  • Repairers
  • Insurance compagnies
  • Warranty Companies

5. How do we store your data and for how long?

Our company stores your data securely at 5760 Paré Street, Mount Royal, QC H4P 2M2 and at 10330 chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Suite 240, Lachine, QC H8T 1A3.

  • The data will be destroyed or archived when it is no longer strictly necessary or relevant for the purposes described in Section 4 above. In particular, personal data will be kept for as long as the business relationship is in force (and to the extent that you have not previously requested their deletion) and for as long as obligations, indemnities and/or liabilities may arise under the business relationship or for the services provided.
  • If you are a prospective customer for whom we pulled a credit report, your personal data will be stored for the period required by law.

7. Transfer of your personal data

Your information, including personal data, is processed at the company's operating offices and at any other location where the parties involved in the processing are located. Your consent to this privacy notice followed by your submission of this information represents your agreement to this transfer.

The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice and that no transfer of your personal data will take place to any organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.
